Create To Watch lists
I'd like to see the possibility of creating ToDO lists. So whenever I see in my stream a movie I'd like to watch, just add it to my ToDo list

Search by and be able to follow channels such as nickelodeon or comedy central to see a list of shows that you can check in to, watch, and follow.

Allow more check-ins than 7 in an hour time based on shows duration.
I'm behind on Tekzilla Daily Tip by 45 episodes where episode length is between 1-2 minutes, but the system only allows me to check-in 7 times in an hour so it would be great if you could add episode durations to shows that would recognize that and allow more check-ins. It would also prevent people for checking in for shows 7 times in a row where episode length is 45 minutes. Only problem would be that you would have to check-in in the beginning of the show, but maybe you can come up with a more clever system for that.

what new episodes are on tonight?
With all the channels on TV, it's surprisingly difficult to get a simple list of what TV shows I watch that have new episodes tonight. There are two places I know to get them, but one is somewhat unreliable and the other is kind of annoying to use.
Since miso has a pretty good idea of what I like (between check-ins and the new ability to follow a show), and I'm visiting here anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to have a "what's on tonight?" page specific to me. This could also suggest shows that other users with similar tastes…

Private chat window
Add a streaming private chat window so you can talk to your followers and those you follow

It would be nice to have area to say how you watching it. Live on TV, Hulu, Netflix, Tivo, etc.

Badge for adding missing Info
Just an idea but maybe something to track how many tv shows or movies you've added to the database. If not a tracker maybe a badge for adding the information.

connect to other video websites and instantly update
I believe you should do two things to make this social network even more exceptional. 1. You should allow instant sign ins with other video websites and be able to check in immediately from there. Just like facebook and twitter allow other websites to sign in with facebook you should with miso. Connect miso to netflix , hulu, or other video websites and as you instant watch it instantly updates your miso with the correct movie or show data. adjust when username is visible.
When I check-in it checks me in as my username, but the chart on the right and any replies/comments shows my real name.

Midomi or Shazam-style audio or video-based search
I know this would require some serious partnering (with Netflix or Amazon VOD), licensing, data crunching and bandwidth, but this would be a cool place for Miso to end up down the road.

Weekly Checkin Summary for Facebook/Twitter
For users who don't want to spam there timelines with checkins but would like to create discussions based on there viewings.

Improvements needed (Multiple suggestions)
It'd be great to have stats (which are represented by time habits also, apart from other stuff),
Suggest shows as per preference,
Enable episode wise check in, create a common shout out pool for every check-in episode which is linked to a common Tv Show/Movie discussion pool!
Have a basic write-up/cast detail etc. when you click on a show to make the experience more immersive and comprehensive. Else I find myself going to iMdb all the time.

Allow those to get points for facebook when twitter and facebook accounts are linked
I'm one of those ppl who have their facebook account linked to my twitter, where when I post something on twitter it shows up on facebook. I just think there should be a way to get the facebook points also.

List with a view of shows/movies created by a user that shows its popularity/trend
User should be able to have a list that gives them an overview of what they created and its popularity and discussion. This induces immense participation :)
