  1. Redirect to the original title of the movie when typing a translated version

    Most movies have different titles in different countries. When typing a movie title in their native language into the "What are you watching?" box, users shoud be redirected to an "official" and unique page of the film. Multiple entries for the same movie just don't make sense, it's just a "dispersion" of check-ins.

    Example: François Truffaut's "La Nuit Américaine" has two other pages: "Day for night" in English and "Effetto Notte" in Italian. This shouldn't happen.

  3. Respond to support requests (Radical suggestion!)

    I tried contacting support twice when the post to Facebook function stopped working & only found a solution because I kept randomly checking the site in the hope that others had reported the problem & had better luck. Now the post to Twitter function is broken & I've had no response yet again. And others have similar tales. Problems happen & sometimes there isn't an easy fix, but would it kill you guys to respond in some way?

  8. Ability to block peoples posts and future posts (spammers)

    Just created an account. When I look at the page of "my shows" all I see is spamming and most are not even in my language. Need to be able to block accounts from appearing and slowly filter these people out.

  9. bring the iPad version of the app to the same feature level as on the iPhone

    Since it is a universal iOS app there shouldn't be as many differences between the iPad and the iPhone version when it comes to the available features and options…!? I understand that some differences are required in regards of the design -- but I should be able to do at least as much with the iPad as I can with the iPhone…

  10. Fix Iphone app!

    I have an Iphone 3g with ios 3.1.3. I just updated to the latest version of the Miso app yesterday (October 26) and now everytime I go to open the app, it closes down immediately. Extremely frustrating. Is the new version not supported with older ios's?

    How about Miso cared about non-iOS users a tiny bit? Just once!

    I see the latest development has gone into Quips - yet another iOS exclusive feature while all other platforms are ignored.

  16. Allow users to include film database ID # to match duplicate listings.

    This would be similar to how 4SQ merges listings and might be a way to speed up duplicate content listings. Allow the user to place the db # in a field when marking the dupe listing. Not a major thing and maybe not necessary if you're able to whip thru flagged items quickly. Seems like I'm noticing more dupe items now that users are allowed to add new titles.

  18. Add an episode-like option for multiple versions of a film

    This would be particularly useful for Blade Runner and The Lord of the Rings trilogy as well as Donnie Darko, The Patriot, Watchmen, Dark City, etc.

  20. Midomi or Shazam-style audio or video-based search

    I know this would require some serious partnering (with Netflix or Amazon VOD), licensing, data crunching and bandwidth, but this would be a cool place for Miso to end up down the road.
