I think Milorad has a great concept for this (regarding a "watched" state for episodes). Checking in would automatically set the episode to having been watched, plus you could earn your points for participating in the moment. If you wanted to go back and "catalog" previous episodes, you could simply mark them as having been "watched" and get no points.

SideReel does a good job with keeping track of what you've watched and they use a model like this (though they don't use points at all on their site).

Also, the "watched" state would fit right in with Facebook's new social actions for Timeline.

same with films! check-in to films I watched before - not currently! I'ld love Miso even more <3 :D

you could implement a question about each episode, to be sure that that episode was actually seen. is a big job but with the help of users you may be able

I love the way this site looks and the way you can interact with friends. But without many of the core features that nextepisode offers with regards to what episodes are being shown past present and future and the way you can check in whole season previous season i see no reason to change.

Please add this feature. I am currently using another service and can't move to Miso because of this issue. It's February now and I've already seen about a hundred episodes this season only - I really don't want to spend a night checking them.

I don't care about the points or badges - make it 0, if necessary. I just want my viewer experience stored online in full.

I think the general idea is a good one in terms of cataloguing ones own viewing habits, but if this feature is allowed (with points) it will just turn into a big check-in fest to see who can grab every show they ever watched. As in Foursquare, people will end up wasting time trying to gain points rather than using the site as intended to check-in to what you are currently watching and develop a dialog around it, as well as other things. Imagine people going back to 80's and 90's shows, checking in to Cop Rock and Doogie Howser full seasons.

Also, I don't think there would be a way to check-in and not get points as the system could never tell if you were watching presently or not. With the advent of DVR there is no way to force it to be on in your time zone for a check-in as well.

I almost only created a miso account because I was looking for some site to catalogue my views... so I NEED this feature too!

It's not about the points, but giving a general idea about what you're watching. And not just the favourite of the last week. And what I also like: "It should then be possible to browse to a user's profile and see a list of everything they've watched organised alphabetically and by genre... instead of a chronological check-in list." This would be more useful.

This is the only thing that stops me from using Miso. I really NEED this.

I have watched many series, season, episodes as I am a huge Series fan and I would love to have checkins/ watched for those that I have already seen. Can that be made possible?
