  1. Present a case for why someone would want to develop against your API in a prominent location

    I found gomiso.com through the engineering blog, and am always looking for APIs that could help me or my users.

    The documentation itself provides really clear instructions how I could go about using it (kudos), but it's not as clear why.

    I'm not looking for a sales pitch, so much as a brief explanation targeted at someone who has never heard of the site previously.

  2. Facebook integration is broken!

  5. Show what you had to do to earn a badge.

    When you earn a badge you can click on it and see what it's called and when you earned it but not much else. I would like to be able to see more info about what I had to do to earn a badge. For example; earning a movie badge is done by checking in to a certain number of movies but there in no way to find out how many. When you click on a badge it should say what it's called, how it was earned, and when it was earned.

  9. Release dates for movies

    Currently if a film has been added and you want to change the release date the earliest year is 1993. Obviously it should go back further than that. I don't know if it does the same for tv shows.

  10. allow search our own comments of a selected shows

    Create a list of shows I've watched with capability of search amongst my own posts/comments related to the selected show.
    The list helps to keep track of watched episodes while searching amongst our own comments bring up memories about them.

  11. Search button in Profile.

    Hello, I'm a big fan of this site... But I have an idea...

    I use this site to keep track of the last episodes of the TV shows I've watched...

    But sometimes I stop watching a show and watch an other show instead, and I forget the last episode I've watched...

    My idea is to separate the profile for the shows or include a search button so I can see what episode I watched..

    or make the profile into seperate files of the shows I've watched, so everyone can see the shows I'm currently watching :) ...

    maybe this is just with NFL games but after I check into a show, show me something besides the Miso logo - how many others are watching (starting with my friends), comments, etc.

  16. to develop plugins for iTunes, VLC, Quicktime etc to auto-checkin movies that you watch

    Nowadays a lot of users watch movies trough their PC or Mac that are ripped or downloaded on multiple creative ways. I would myself use this sort of plugin a lot since it could track which movies I watched and I would more often check back on gomiso.com if I forgot the name of the movie I watched recently.

    Detection of the name of movies could be achieved by comparing the file-name or parent folder name to the databases of movies. Using the md5 of the file you can track as well other users that watch the same file thus…

  17. Fix the year dropdown box.

    When someone creates a movie and forgets to put in the right year, i cannot backdate it further than back to 1993. This is rather annoying, because not all of us stick to movies released in the current year. I do a lot of editing and correcting here to make sure we have a good AND accurate site, but that particular bit is a no-go .. so please either expand the dropdown or make it a typable field.
