  2. Care about non-iOS users at all

    How about Miso cared about non-iOS users a tiny bit? Just once!

    I see the latest development has gone into Quips - yet another iOS exclusive feature while all other platforms are ignored.

  3. Receiving a badge after watching all the films in a franchise.

    After watching all the films in a franchise such as all the Harry Potter films, James Bond films, or all the Halloween films, you would receive a Franchise Badge for watching all the films in the series!!!!

  4. improve the appearance and design of the badges

    There are some badges that are not properly (the size for example) or are very simple. I suggest correct some who lose their shape (the super nerd bagde).

  5. to develop plugins for iTunes, VLC, Quicktime etc to auto-checkin movies that you watch

    Nowadays a lot of users watch movies trough their PC or Mac that are ripped or downloaded on multiple creative ways. I would myself use this sort of plugin a lot since it could track which movies I watched and I would more often check back on gomiso.com if I forgot the name of the movie I watched recently.

    Detection of the name of movies could be achieved by comparing the file-name or parent folder name to the databases of movies. Using the md5 of the file you can track as well other users that watch the same file thus…

  6. Fix the year dropdown box.

    When someone creates a movie and forgets to put in the right year, i cannot backdate it further than back to 1993. This is rather annoying, because not all of us stick to movies released in the current year. I do a lot of editing and correcting here to make sure we have a good AND accurate site, but that particular bit is a no-go .. so please either expand the dropdown or make it a typable field.

  10. Don't focus so much on iOS

    The miso Android app is almost a year behind the iOS version (e.g. no ratings, no new design, etc.). Instead of bringing it up-to-date you just released an iOS-only app (Quips).
    Please consider the importance of Android and the fact that it's growing faster than iOS.

    The same applies to your web interface which still lacks the same things as the Android app (ratings, new design, etc.).

    Personally I'm not a fan of the new design but everything's better than the highly inconsistent state between all your properties. So please stop focusing so much on iOS and start getting it…

  13. Show the episodes list in ASCENDING order

    For people who hasn't watched certain show (or season), it's very odd to check-in in the 1st episode having to see a screen-cap (and the title) of THE LAST ONE.

  14. Did I watch this movie/show? If so, when?

    When I pull up a movie/show the only way I see to find out when I watched it (assuming I did watch it) is to keep scrolling through all of the views after me until I find me. With popular movies this is next to impossible. It'd be nice to be able to either search our own check-ins and/or when pulling up a movie/show have it say something like "You checked in to this movie/episode on date(s).

  15. Allow more than one hashtag per entry.

    Sometimes movies or TV shows use more than one hashtag for promotion, or sometimes have specific ones on an episode.

    Seriously guys, this is bad. Why am I even taking the time to log in online when your mobile app, which should be all I need, works so poorly? I do not watch obscure programing, yet every show I watch is not listed on the app! So I have to log in online to "add it". Really? So I have to work harder because your "check in to what you are watching" app doesn't list the current NCAA football game? No. I'm done. Gave you 2 years to get it right. Hasn't happened. Game over.

  19. Redirect to the original title of the movie when typing a translated version

    Most movies have different titles in different countries. When typing a movie title in their native language into the "What are you watching?" box, users shoud be redirected to an "official" and unique page of the film. Multiple entries for the same movie just don't make sense, it's just a "dispersion" of check-ins.

    Example: François Truffaut's "La Nuit Américaine" has two other pages: "Day for night" in English and "Effetto Notte" in Italian. This shouldn't happen.

  20. Show which movies or shows' episodes I've watched before

    When going to check a movie or a show It should say something like "already watched", and then if this is the case, add a button or a new feature showing a "rewatch" button (also adding badges to this can be awesome). It would be something like a badge when I watched the same movie 5 times, etc.
